Sarcoma Research Canada: The goals of Sarcoma Research Canada are to provide support for children and young adolescents in need, particularly those affected by osteosarcoma and related cancers. Zippaport: Making Port Access Easier. Kids diagnosed with cancer often have a port-a-cath inserted under their skin, usually in the chest area. The port is accessed with a needle and IV, and chemo is given this way. If a child is wearing a Zippaport shirt, they simply need to unzip the zipper to access the port.
